Raspberry pi 4…小科技的大樂趣…

This tiny little guy is called Raspberry pi 4 with 8GB of RAM. I got it at around HK$700 (which is now worths over $1400 or above due to global chip shortage!!!). During the pandemic, I stayed home and started learning this stuff through Youtube and Google anything around it and I spent hundreds of hours self-learning around it.

It gave me lots of funs and also added tremendous value to my own knowledge. Before the pandemic, I knew little about Linux, Apache, MySql, WordPress, php, APIs, etc., and after the pandemic which lasted the last 3 years, I am now enjoying this little guy doing lots of automating stuff for me, e.g. it pulled through a weather API of next 14 days and auto send an email to my inbox everyday at 8:30am, and it auto update my stock portfolio’s closing prices everyday when the stock market closes at 4pm. And I got a tiny LCD as shown telling me how much I still lost on paper :(, haha, and it is pure fun.

This little guy runs for 40 days now 7×24 non-stop and it only pulls 5V, 3amp (energy saving) and running it costs nothing at all.
